Summer Dance Program
Classes, intensives, and camps for all levels over the summer.
Cantarella’s summer program offers elementary and entry-level dance camps, intermediate and advanced-level dance intensives, and weekly classes for children and adults.
Intensive weeks are concentrated programs for the aspiring dancer at the intermediate and advanced levels. Intenstives may include daily ballet classes and pointe technique complemented by variations, modern, jazz, yoga, Pilates, strength and conditioning, and makeup or nutrition.
Summer registration will open on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

Moving with Intentionality: A Contemporary Movement Series
June 15–19, 2026

Instructor: Kareem Best
Tuition: $350 per dancer | Early Bird Special: $325 if registered by April 25Join us as we welcome guest artist Kareem Best for an inspiring week of contemporary movement and artistic growth.
This intensive blends Modern and Jazz techniques with guided creative exploration. Dancers will strengthen their technical foundation while expanding their movement vocabulary and deepening their connection to artistry.
Throughout the week, students will focus not only on physical strength and control, but also on intentional decision-making, musicality, and storytelling through movement.
The week culminates with a Friday showcase for parents, giving students the opportunity to present the skills and artistry they’ve developed in a supportive, encouraging setting.
Dance Team Intensive Bundle: Dance team members who register for both summer intensives will receive a discounted tuition rate.

Elite Classical Variations Intensive
August 3–7, 2026

Instructor: Miss Dede
Tuition: $350Take your training to the next level with our Variations from YAGP Competitions Intensive. Designed for dedicated dancers ages 12 and up, this focused week will explore classical variations commonly performed at competitions such as Youth America Grand Prix.
Dancers will work on technique refinement, artistry, musicality, and performance quality while learning and polishing solo repertoire. Emphasis will be placed on strength, precision, stage presence, and the stylistic nuances that set competitive dancers apart.
This intensive is ideal for students preparing for competition season or looking to challenge themselves with advanced classical repertoire in a supportive and inspiring environment.

2026 Summer Dance Camps

Zootopia Arts & Crafts Camp
July 20–22, 2026
9–11am
Ages 3–5
Instructor: Miss Destiny
Tuition: $130Step into Zootopia, a magical world where little dancers explore movement, imagination, and creativity! Our youngest campers will enjoy pre-ballet classes that develop coordination, balance, and a love for dance — all in a fun, playful environment.
Campers will also get hands-on with arts and crafts, making colorful projects inspired by animals, nature, and the story of Zootopia. Each day is filled with music, movement, and creative adventures that spark curiosity and confidence in every child.
Please pack plenty of water and a snack each day. On the last day of camp, families are invited to a mini showcase, where campers can proudly share their dance moves and art projects — a perfect way to celebrate their week of creativity and fun!

Rainforest Creatures Ballet Camp

Tuition: $325Step into the jungle this summer for a magical week of dance and imagination! Designed for ages 7–10, this creative ballet camp brings the vibrant world of rainforest animals to life through movement, music, and storytelling.
Dancers will leap like jaguars, flutter like tropical birds, and sway like jungle vines while building strong ballet fundamentals in a fun and supportive environment. Each day includes technique, choreography, and themed activities inspired by rainforest creatures.
Please have your dancer pack a snack and water each day.

Musical Theater Camp

Tuition: $325Lights up! Join us for an exciting week of singing, dancing, and acting at our Musical Theater Camp led by Miss Hannah! This high-energy evening camp is perfect for performers ages 8 and up who love the stage and want to build confi dence, creativity, and performance skills.
Campers will explore Broadway-style choreography, vocal technique, character development, and stage presence while working on scenes and musical numbers throughout the week. Whether your child is new to musical theater or already loves the spotlight, this camp offers a supportive and inspiring environment to grow as a performer.
The week will conclude with a fun, informal showcase for families, giving campers a chance to shine and celebrate all they’ve learned!
